MTV Networks’ high-definition music channel Palladia is set to give fans a front row seat to some of the biggest music festival performances this year with its Outdoor Music Week 2011 programming.

Starting August 29, Palladia will air eight days of concert performances which include sets from Kings of Leon and Beady Eye at the 2011 Isle of Wight festival, The Killers at Hard Rock Calling 2011 in London’s Hyde Park, and Coldplay and My Chemical Romance from Ireland’s Oxegen 2011 festival to name a few.

MTV2's 120 Minutes with Matt Pinfield premieres Saturday, July 30 at 1am ET.

Matt Pinfield the legendary host and walking encyclopedia of all things music is back at the helm and bringing his friends into the conversation. The new 120 will be two hours long with a combination of must-see music videos and segments packed with interviews, music news, trivia and important information about up-and-coming bands.

MTV2's 120 Minutes with Matt Pinfield will be filmed at Arlene's Grocery, the famous alternative music venue on Manhattan's Lower East Side.

The show will debut the last Saturday of every month on MTV2 and 120.mtv2.com.

Featuring artists such as Dave Grohl, Lupe Fiasco, Kings of Leon, The Black Angels, Sleigh Bells, Das Racist, PJ Harvey, Dangermouse, Fitz and the Tantrums, Theophilus London, Cults and Zach Braff.

The hour-long "VH1 Storytellers" episode will feature the band performing a selection of hits including "Sex on Fire," "Radioactive" and "Use Somebody" which earned the band three Grammy awards in 2010 including "Record of the Year."

While introducing "Radioactive" lead singer Followill told the audience, "You know there's always gonna be an element of our background in the songs and our background was the church - or is the church. We're finally at the age when we're comfortable in our own skin and we're not scared to admit that and not scared to put it out there... I think the more honest that we've been throughout the years, we get the better result that way."

Comcast to launch 3DTV channel in the US with the KOL Gig from Hamburg (Dec 10) - Kings of Leon in 3D - can you handle it !!!  

In May, Storytellers will launch its 15th-anniversary season by showcasing Kings of Leon. Subsequent episodes will feature recent Grammy winners Ray LaMontagne and Cee Lo Green, the bands My Morning Jacket and Death Cab for Cutie, and nouveau soul man Maxwell.

"We've always really liked (the show) because it's great to hear how your favorite songs were written and what they're about" says Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill.
